Phnom Banan

A little way out of town is this beautiful collection of temple ruins located at the top of a hill and set within stunning countryside. Many of the towers are still in good condition, and the views are magnificent. A considerable stairway leads to the top.
Battambang Winery

On the route to Phnom Banan is located this small winery, which is the only one of it's kind in Cambodia. Located in the rural countryside surrounding the city, after exploring the vineyard you can sample the 'fruits' of labour by tasting the wine and fresh grape juice.
