Governor's House

Built in 1907, the Governor's House is a prime example of French architecture. In the south end of town it can be reached by walking down the river from where you can appreciate the town's French colonial architectural legacy - the French colonial buildings are fine tourist attractions in themselves

The streets of Battambang are home to some of the best preserved French colonial style buildings. These date back to the early 20th century, and are a vivid reminder of the history and French presence in Cambodia.
